Arcade gaming in Thailand

Afgelopen weken samen met mijn vrouw op vakantie geweest in Thailand en dat kan natuurlijk niet zonder een arcade op te zoeken.
De foto's hieronder zijn van het MBK Shopping Center in Bangkok.

Zoals jullie zien ligt de focus voornamelijk op dance games en sit down racers.
'Echte' cabs stonden er slechts 4 met Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (ben hier een jaar of 7 geleden ook al eens geweest en toen was de verhouding andersom...)

Verder hebben we ook een aantal andere shopping center bezocht waar overal wel ergens een 'gaming' hoekje was, maar dit was op heel veel plekken een veredelde console met controllers op een of ander statief...

Zo, leuke arcade! Die Marvel beelden zijn mooi, en dan vooral die Hulk kop.

Vet... mooie collectie cabs daar. Jubeat heb ik altijd een x willen proberen.

Not sure you saw it, but there is a video game shop on the same level: ocorner.
The dude is super relax and sell tons of oldies and limited edition. He also has some arcade games sometimes. Last time he was just back from japan with a original punisher in cps system and a vega 9000DX.

Have a look if you are still in town.

Not sure you saw it, but there is a video game shop on the same level: ocorner.

Didn't notice him, will have a look for him the next time I'm there (in a few years or so... )!

Only video games I saw in this mall where some of them crappy stores between all the phone stores. Most of the stuff they offer was some old PS3/DS and copied Wii games...
