I don't think anybody on this board has intensions to buy a type-X mobo, you're better off putting a X-BOX 360 in your cab. Cheaper and most of the time the games are spot on compared to the type-X version of the game (as SF4, KOF, Raiden). Most of the primary type-X games do appear on the console, and most of the time the games have extra levels, characters or are enhanced in other ways.
Samurai Sen is also on xbox 360, and is called Samurai Shodown: Edge of Destiny.

Whats the release date? I googled around for this the other day, but i couldnt find a CONFIRMED date for 360 from a reliable source, and i dont see it on the SNK Playmore site either. It sucks that they removed the gore from the TypeX2 version too btw :/

I thought Samurai Spirits Sen would only get a PS3 release? At least that's the only release I heard about but that was a while back...so is the game also comming to the 360 now?

Heb de game op IC 09 gespeeld en het is wel aardig, leuke old school setting maar middelmate graphics en qua gameplay weet het de andere fighters van dit jaar niet te ontstijgen..

Do you mean typeX or typeX2? Either way it doesnt really matter how good the hardware is if there's no software for it. typeX and typeX2 are just PC's so they arent really that exciting i think. I've even seen people running the bootleg games on a standard PC, although im not sure how that works since everyone is being all mysterious about that.

Well the difference between the Atomiswave and the Type-X hardware is huge. Personally, i considered buying an Atomiswave often; it's easy to use, Jamma compatible and it looks ace. Best looking hardware + software ever, but that's not really important since there are just too few good games.
I think the Atomiswave is a nice piece of hardware, but lacks a good and large library of software. That said, the price of the hardware is very good at this time and most of the games come rather cheap too. Do realise that the games that are considered the "top" games of the sytem are still quite high in price (Slug 6, Samurai Shodown 6 and Hokuto no Ken for example), and you really want those when you buy an Atomiswave.
The Type-X has all the new games, but you can't afford them. And you need a Vewlix or other LCD cab to really enjoy the hardware in full potential. All in all, you gotta be rich and stupid to buy that hardware if you are not an arcade operator i guess. Also, the fact that it's pc-based is not really contributing to the lifespan etc of the hard-and soft.

Ik zie die typex2 kitjes toch voor minder voorbij komen dan sommige cave kits anders hoor...

Yeah it depents on what you consider a cheap game and hardware. Type-X hardware will cost you about 350 euro + shipping if you buy it from trusted Jap stores, and the soft is in the pricerange 150 - 2000 euro. Rather expensive if a X-box360 will give you the same experience and most of the time even better. But off course if i would have the money, i would buy the original hardware too.

That's also true, but i don't think the hardware nowadays is a good comparison with the neo in it's days. Arcade was hot then, everybody wanted a neo geo but couldn't affor one. Nowadays, 99.9% of the people don't have the slightest idea what type-x is or most of it's games. These will not become collectibles like the neo games i think.

AES was made for home use, tx2 is not so you cant really compare them like that.
