[GEZ] MVS Shockboxes
[GEZ] MVS Shockboxes
Hey,

The Future of Southtown...
Many of you have been inquiring as to the status of Southtown-homebrew.com - so here goes.
As most of you know, I have moved recently and no longer have access to the printing machines that I did before - over a 70 mile drive now. That combined with the pressures of a new job has hurt order time and brought far too much stress on me in the little time that I have.
So the good news - the site is coming back. Very very soon. I have been working with very close with my personal friend Dan (forum member danox574) regarding a partnership.
Dan is already working on securing new equipment - better equipment actually - and continue to produce high quality inserts for everyone.Shockboxes will be available still as well as the other products currently offered and we have some new items in store as well.
As always, inserts will be available for free download.
Not only will this keep the site up and running for all of us but it will allow me time to concentrate on aspects of the store that I enjoy more - designing inserts, maintaining peoples submissions, adding new free content (i.e. Electricgrave's CPanel overlays) and so forth.
Still to this day I am completely overwhelmed at the intiial efforts put forth by this community. From the countless hours of people designing these inserts, Big Bear having the shocks produced, and madmen like Kurtz and Razoola pumping out the hardware goodies - it truly shows how much care and devotion can be put into a system considered dead by the rest of the world.
So there you have it. I couldn't be more thankful for all the support we have had since opening. Thank you all!

Even geduld nog dus.

Even geduld nog dus.
Hello everyone,
I appreciate the kind words from everyone when dub announced our partnership on Southtown. I actually stopped collecting Neo when I got tired of lusting after KOF '98 because it was unaffordable to most, and found my way back to the scene just a few years ago. Like many of you, I found Southtown through Neo-Geo.com and placed a few orders myself, and dub and I later became friends.
Now, Southtown has openend it's website again. There are no changes, and as of today, in stock items are available and inserts as always are available for download. Inserts, T-Shirts, and AES protectors are in stock. Our priority was getting the store open to make the archive of shockbox art available to everyone, so we felt that was more important than making some of the planned changes.
Around the end of the month, BigBear's shockboxes will be in stock. Razoola's UniBios 2.3 will be available for purchase in the coming days. A few non-Neo related items are planned to be added to the store (some of which are aimed at other classic collectors, hopefully teaching them about the Neo games!), some Atomiswave accessories are planned (such as a Stereo harness, and one other surprise accessory), Naomi parts, and several other items are coming to the store. ideally, non-US customers should be able to get a proper shipping amount, because we want to speed the order process and checkout for all customers.
We have most of what we need to make a few consolized systems available through the store. However, we have a shortage of controllers, so if you have joysticks or pads and have an interest in obtaining some Southtown goodies, please let us know. We can arrange a trade for merchandise or purchase them. Consolized systems will not be built to request or specific configurations. They will be made available as the parts happen upon us, and each configuration will be unique, so keep an eye out!
We're always available to answer your questions and assist with your Neo (and now other) collecting needs! The main contact for the store is now southtown@mac.com, and that has been posted on the site as well.
Here's looking forward to my new relationship with southtown and serving the community with an archive of the inserts, quality printing services, and many more products we hope you'll enjoy over the coming months.
