RecalBox - Rasberry Pi 2 - Emulation

Post by Viny » Fri Feb 26, 2016 13:20

Hi Guys,

I am getting interested in a Rasberry Pi 2 with recalbox emulation software.
It looks pretty good and simple to set up...
it seems with 65 euros you are getting rasberry PI2 / power / 16GB SD card / casing...
you can emulate 8-16-32-64 bits... it s small and hide at the back of the TV...

anybody give a try already? worth the 65euros or not really?
does it run smoothly? what kind of image quality you can get? flatten pixels or emulated pixels?

Thanks! ZeMMik.
I have being looking at a lot of them. I cannot really work out if the arcade emulation is good on it and. Mame seems running ok~ish on it.
Wonder also it there is a scanline filter/generator on the emulator.

Coinops7 is also good. XBOx makes hell of a more noise + more physical space, that is the big difference :)

I have a PI hidden behind my TV (powered by USB on the TV) - works great (mostly for XBMC)

Clever setup! Just bought a new tv with some USB ports on it. Been looking for something to use them on and completely forgot about the pi I have lying around.... Does Mame scale to 55" full screen? :))

Can't wait to get home now...
Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, man when I was dead broke I couldn`t picture this ...
