Ik heb even de tutorial 'gestolen'van de franse site en op KC gepost in t Engels als volgt.
Misschien kan iemand vd Nozomi leden er (in de toekomst) iets aan hebben.
Met dank dus aan de Franse poster.
Here goes;
Taking a Sega New Astro City Apart (leaving the monitor in)
So here's a tutorial I took from the French Site
http://www.neo-arcadia.com  (Thnx!)and translated it into English. I used the tutorial to take apart my Astro when I could not get it up the stairs. I left the monitor in the cab.
feel free to change if anything is not correct.
1. Remove the 7 screws on the rear of the cab and take the panel off. The two bottom screws are longer than the others.
you can do this with an ordinary screwdriver as well.
2. Open the Control Panel with the keys (under the CP) and remove the 3 screws as pictured.
3. Remove the plug on the most left in the control panel. This plug is wired to the front panel.
4. Deconnect the cable(s) attached to the Front VR in the control panel.(The New Astro only has one cable connected). Also untie the cable ties which hold this cable.
5. Take off the Front Panel
6. Remove the 4 top screws as pictured.
7. Remove the 3 screws on both sides of the cabinet. I (and others)found these to be the most difficult to remove. You need a screwdriver that is of good quality and one that fits perfectly. You may also need a helping hand in holding the cab to its place while you screw. Total 6 screws.
8. Remove the 6 screws (3 each bottom side) as pictured.
9. Remove the 4 screws on the rear of the cab.
10. Now before you take the front and the rear side of the cabinet apart you have to unplug 4 cables inside the cab.
See picture:
- the two cables on the right - one attaches to the chassis at the rear of the monitor and the other attaches to the fluorescent lamp.
- the two other cables both attach to the Power Supply Unit - the one most on the left is the earthwire which you need to unscrew.
11. Now you can take the two sides apart. Make sure the rear section holding the monitor doesnt fall.
The pdf Sega New Astro Owners manual I downloaded from this other great site might help too.
